 My name is Kris Johnson. I have over 20 years of pet care experience. My dog sitting, Camp Wag A Tails is located at my  country home in Ann Arbor area near 'Wiards Orchard' in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I have two and a half acres of property with a large fenced yard. I do not use kennels. All dogs stay in my house with my family. I have a senior dogs and a seven year old Chihuahua and a seven year old Yorkie. I specialize in small and medium sized dog day care and vacations. I like to only have a small group of dogs at a time, this way it stays personal. I worked at Ann Arbor school system as teacher's aid for fourteen years.

My philosophy is keeping dogs happy in a kennel free environment, fulfilling their needs with socialization and lots of fun and exercise. I believe a dog is happiest in a natural setting. My home provides them a natural setting with me, whether they are lounging on the floor or in my lap on the couch.

A typical day at Camp Wag a Tails includes a walk to "Rolling Hills County Park", playing ball, running or splashing in the doggy pool or relaxing inside my cozy and comfortable house.  If your pet is spending the night with me he/she needs to be crate trained at night. My dog day care is in a convenient location for Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Milan and Saline areas.

We are fully insured and bonded, and our main job is to take care of your animals (as opposed to asking a friend or neighbor to do it as a favor.
